I like all of these names in no particular order...and Jeff tolerates them which is apparently the best I can get out of him. The only other name contribution I have from him is Mattias and Magnus. And yes he is serious. So think about it. Ponder it. Leave feedback.

They are 3 strong names.
Hmmm...Mattias (although I would do Matthias) isn't that bad. Magnus does.
I'm not sure if you would also use the second name and use the abbreviation.
Because I wouldn't go for Owen Jacob though, since it would be OJ.
And not for Jonah Jacob, since JJ sounds a bit like a mommy's boy (that's cute when he's little but after 16 not anymore).
I think I would go for Caleb, out of your 3. Since it still gives the K-sound.
But considering all 5 names, I would go for Mattias, and then call him Matt.

Hey Stell. It's Ashley. I actually loved 'Jonah' when I was pregs with Johnathan...Still love it! And I've always loved 'Owen'. And the only 'Owen' I've known was a devilishly cute little boy with spunk!!! And I think 'Caleb Jack' is precious. And I think it's fine with a 'k', that way it would go with your others. But tell Jeff that Ashley doesn't like Mattias or Magnus...I like traditional 'Matthew' & 'Matt'. Sorry Jeff! Good Luck & love you guys!!!

I like Owen Jacob. But I'm sure that whatever you pick will fit him and years down the road you'll think of the other choices you picked and think "wow, I'm glad I didn't name you so and so because you don't look like a so and so" hehe

Caleb is my fave. It's the only name that doesn't make me think of weirdo celebs ie the Jonas brothers and Owen Wilson.

I think Caleb Jack is ok, but Jack doesn't sound good next to your last name, IMO. Jonah reminds me of the Jonah and the whale story, and I get a Wee Sing Silly Songs kind of feel, but it's kinda cute. You seem to be going toward Jacob, so you could go with Jacob Owen and call him Jake. (Jake goes better with your last name than Jack for some reason?) His initials would be cool. I still like the KJ thing just cuz, so Kaleb Jack would be cute. I can't believe Jeff like Magnus. That's just scary. Kinda like when Rudi suggested the name Annette when I was pregnant. Eek!

Leah-You are right about the middle name not going with my last name. However, "Caleb Jacob" just sounds silly to me. Too rhyme-y or something, lol. Jeff's grandpa was named Jacob and they called him Jack. He is insistent on that for a middle name. I don't love the name because it's on the top 10 baby name lists but it is fine for a middle name. I have to throw him a bone because he let me name my first son 'Kennen' which is a little cre8tive, but makes me happy.
I would love Caleb Owen...but those of you that know my last name know what his initials would spell. LMAO, I just can't do it!
I'm hoping I can get out of the 'Jacob' kick that Jeff is on, but the only way that will happen is if his sister names her baby Jacob. *C'mon J...you know you want to, lol*

I personally love Jonah. I always think of a sweet little boy. Caleb...I like too but...if I think of a kid...I think a little rascal kid. I like Owen...but...I like Jonah better.
You can call him JJ (jonah jacob).
Setlla- you're right, Caleb Jacob doesn't go together (I like Caleb and Jacob for twins!), but the more I say it, Caleb Jack really sounds cute.
