OMG I just got back from seeing Twilight and i am sooo happy! I loved the movie and Edward was sexy/scary/sweet/brooding...perfect! I didn't like Bella in the previews but she was a great fit I think. I have heard some bad reviews but I think it is only because people are expecting it to be another Harry Potter or something. I must say that I loved it! I am even more in love with Edward and I can't wait to see a more grown up Jacob in future movies. He is a hottie. TEAM JACOB! Or maybe TEAM EDWARD! Can't I have them both?

they've just signed on for new moon - so they will begin filming on that one soon!!!
I went to see it Friday night and loved it! They followed the story pretty good, there were two things I noticed though...Edward (awesome as he was) was a little more flaky that I expected...in the book he's very suave, but he seemed awkward at many times in the movie. And, the book definitely gives you more insight into the intensity of Bella's/Edward's love for each other....I definitely recommend the movie, but the book has to be read too!! lol

if you've read the draft of Midnight Sun, it shows him as a little more.. unsure of Bella and their relationship, cause it's from his point of view. I think they got it pretty down pat. THere are only two places that weren't in the book that I remember, and they were both in the preview movie trailers, so I'm not spoiling anything! The worker being murdered, and when emmet gets upset cause she's "not one of us" that's not in twilight. At least not that I remember and I've read it four or five times already!
I actually did not really like the movie, I thought it was very obviously low budget (like I could see Edward's contacts a few times) and I thought Bella was a HORRIBLE actress. I was cringing in my seat every time she had a line. But on a more positive note, I did like the baseball scene a lot, I liked the casting for the high school friends and most of the Cullen family, and can I just say, James can bite me ANYTIME he wants to...Mmmmm...
I've read the Midnight Sun draft (which I so wish she would finish!!) and I get where Edward wasn't so sure of himself, but in Twilight he always came across as so smooth with everyone, he seemed more on edge in this movie than I expected....when he's in lab and she walks in for the first time, I always took that as a serious moment, but the way he reacted in the movie was hilarious instead, the whole audience was laughing! All in all, very good movie...are they really working on New Moon now?

I LOVED IT!!!!!!! I thought Jacob was freaky though. Not sure about New Moon. We'll see how it plays out.
